BigJon's Grandma has been battling a really nasty infection for about a month now. They thought she was clear and had been at home for a little while and started to get sick really quick again. She went to the hospital on Thursday and was admitted and put on Antibiotics. Well she is not responding to treatment and it just getting worse. They took her off the antibiotics this morning and are letting her go to sleep and pass in peace she is on Morphine and is sleeping now. We got this call at about 9:30 this morning.
At about 9 am my mom called and my Grandma has been rushed to the hospital. They think she had a stroke She had x-rays and cat scan this morning, they are admitting her for observation and she is now waiting for a room. The doctors are not saying much or at least that is what my mom is telling me. I am hopping to go she her as soon as she has a room.
I am just hopping I am not contagious anymore. I have been on the antibiotic Biaxin since Friday night. I have bronchitis and an ear infection. so I am not in good shape myself. I feel horrible today and I am a mess with all this sickness and death around us. I just don't want either one of them to pass.
I just don't know what to do, I just want to cry but that solves nothing.
My grandma is all I have left. I don't have anything to do with my father so I don't know his family and my Grandfather died in January of 2001. BigJon's Grandpa died in October of 2000. He has 2 more Grandma and One Grandpa left.
