Make a little birdhouse in your soul.

One of my favorite albums is They Might Be Giants: Flood. Ahh, 1990, how are you doing, 17 years in the past?
Holy buckets, I just realized this year is my 20 year high school reunion. Good gravy on toast, I'm old. Makes that birthday coming up in uh, 9 days or so kind of....icky.
I had a fair weekend, I think. Saturday we did a little cleaning, I did a little shopping, I did a little shopping again with the wife, and we all sort of hung out.
Stella was a pain.
Sunday, I took Sammy to Radio Shack, where we got ourselves one of those Xmod RC cars - a blue Mustang. Those things are fast and fun to race. Then we went over to the new Caribou Coffee by our house, sat by the fire there and drank coffee and cocoa as the snow started to fall.
Sunday night I got hit with a killer pain in my tooth, which is caused by the fact that I grind my teeth. But once that went away, Sammy and the wife and I rang in the new year playing video games (Toe Jam and Earl, and Super Monkey Ball). Oh, and I finished Gears of War, which was fab.
Stella was a pain.
Monday, we did a little cleaning (the wife more than me) in our attempt to resettle the Lounge, which has frankly gone to the dogs since Stella was born. Sam and I did some major gaming with some Xbox Life games - Cloning Clyde and Assault Heroes.
And Stella was a pain. She is in the heart of being 2, with the cuteness and absolute pain the assness that entails. She'll settle down now that the holidays are over. I hope.
At any rate, it was a good weekend, but I am SO glad the holidays are done. Obviously, I didn't get much in the way of news, so we'll start getting back to 'normal' tomorrow.
I gotta fly, but I totally recommended the Campfire Moca at Caribou.
You go have a day.
