SSSSSSS: Stolen Laptops from school

Well...over Christmas vacation some yahoo decided that he was going to break into my computer lab AND STEAL 14 LAPTOPS!!!!

Now...I am left with 9 laptops. This is for classes from 12-25 kids! Dagnabit! I was in such a good mood for coming back to teach some computers...but nooooooo...some a**hole decides he's too good for rules and steals my computers I use to teach with. I want to hit something...HARD...preferably the robber.

i hate thieves from enron to pick pockets... they feel they are entitled...

the guy will end up getting less than half of what it will cost you to replace them, but hopefully he gets caught trying to unload them.

You know though....at least the lab gets new computers out of this. I get to do some shopping to see if I can get a powerful enough machine with a nice cheap price. Thank you G|A? :)

That truly sucks, but I am sure that you have each of the laptops etched and all of the numbers marked down. Hopefully the police will be able to use those numbers to find the thief.

Well....we went ahead and got some more lappys. On the one hand...it does suck that the laptops were stolen....but now....insurance will pay for new ones and they were at the end of their life cycle. Kinda nice.

Getting some Turion dual core 1.6 Ghz w/ 1GB DDR2, 256 MB intergrated vid card, 60 GB hdd action. I like it! :) And after tax it's going to be 774 each. Good stuff! :)
