I can get up to 3K. How the heck do people get up to 50K???
Addictive to me at least and better than the Warcraft TD which was unplayable at progressing levels.

How on Earth did you accumulate that much cash? I can't seem to earn more than 6K and I did make it past lvl 39

Well we understand that logic, however... as the hit points of the mobs increase, how do you keep enough in the bank without upgrading defenses and not losing your lives to get over 10K

I played as conservatively as possible (in my opinion) and still only garnered about 6K in the bank.

I start with one canon on the 1st round. The second round I add another cannon and I think I upgrade one. After each round I upgrade again until level 7 but before level 8 which is air. Yes the boss monster sucks but you got 20 lives and as far as I know it 's not included in your score. When you get wood(haha) I choose Fire for the level 8 air. I make 2 fire canons. Then I let it slaughter everything for several more levels choosing to upgrade the Fire ones. At some point I decided these 2 canons aren't cutting the mustard so I sell them and add a 3rd fire cannon. I think at level 21 I have about 6 fire canons all maxed out. Around level 30 I get all crazy and have like 24 maxed out fire cannons. Every time I get wood (lol) I choose the 5% increase in interest.

So how much money did you end up with this strategy?

I've tried it both ways... working the interest rate up first and I've tried boosting the tech up (combo tower). Either way, by the time I hit the mid 30s, I'm topped out on cash around 5 to 6K yet have enough firepower to take care of the mobs (until dreaded lvls 37, 38 and 39 :eek: )

Seems to me that someone is cheating to get 50K gold and survive lvl 39. :shrug:

The trick is to sell units after each round and get the bigger interest payout. Also, all the wood should be put towards increasing your interest rate and you just roll with cannons (except on Air levels, you should build air towers)

I see that now there is a forum on that site and folks have posted their tips on how to buy and sell cannons to make max interest.

Honestly, I guess that makes the game a bunch of work... with no enjoyment of seeing the rocket launcher decimate creeps from a distance. :heh:

I get at least 20K the way I do it and get to level 39 most of the time. Sometimes I have no lives left and sometimes I have maybe 10. Last night I saw the high score was 83 MILLION!! I call BS on that one.

I was playing last night while I watched TV and had 6 rocket launchers to level 35. Then I got reamed. haha

He updated it quite a few times since I first posted it. When I started there were no Boss Levels, you couldn't buy more lives and the max level was 30 with 5 bonus levels. He added a forums also so the link should be the most up to date version.

finished the game with 14 lives, and a score of 9928. how DO they get such a high score?

i had about 10 rockets at the end, and put all the money in extra lives
so about 20 of them went through once, but not twice!!
i don't think there is a lvl higher than 39.

nvm: i just read the guide on how to get that high of a score...that's a bit too much micromanagment for me.
