I read the news online on Friday and saw that this company is giving out iPod training for free. OK, like everyone, I have an iPod and thought I knew how to use it. Turns out there are a ton of things I didn't know I could do with it and with iTunes. I registered for a free course from this same company a year ago, windows cert 70-270. It was good. They called me and sent me a catalog and coupon (no pressure). Wasn't to bad. I'm not sure how long this will be free. The last one was only given to the first 1000 people. This doesn't say anything about a limit though.

got to love this :)

According to Dan Smith, CEO of Makau Corporation, iPod training is offered free of cost to introduce people of many ages to our upcoming offerings of Desktop Training titles for purchase and playback via the iPod with video.
“Makau creates a curriculum that is not only engaging and accessible, but effective in training people to improve basic iPod skills,” said Smith. “We’ve received positive feedback from a twelve-year-old girl that used the training and is now an expert on basic iPod skills."
A twelve-year-old girl, Madelyne, who took part in the free iPod training test group from Makau found Makau’s free iPod training easy to use. “I got an iPod for Christmas and no one in my family could help me figure it out,” said Madelyne. “Finally after I went to Makau’s website I understand it and now I’m telling all my friends how cool the free iPod training is.”
