Home Depot is liquidating its inventory of consumer electronics, some even below cost. The prices are marked, but you have to get them scanned to see their real price. I just came back with an Epson Moviemate 30s which retails for $1200 and I got it for $499 (it was marked on shelf for $799, but scanned at $499). Lots of ipod accessories (car charger $12 or something). There are dvd players and some stores have plasma tvs for $600.

This is unadvertised and I think most of the store employees don't know about it.

Check it out and report back.

Like I need another reason to go to Home Depot. I'll check out the location nearest to me and see what I come up with.

Excellent, we just got a new HD credit card a couple of weeks ago and have yet to use it. This might be a good thing to break it in on! :D

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Signed up for HD credit card and got an extra 10% off ($472 after tax).

But wait there's more... there's also a "free" mail-in 80 inch Duet portable screen offer ($20 shipping/handling). I ended up buying 3 for me and some buddies, last week. Now, I'm ready for the Super Bowl. :)

BTW... if you'e calling around looking for them, ask customer service first... they were right behind the customer service desk where i went... and the "electrical" dept had no idea.
