Question obout Samsung DVD Recorder on Deals Page

Samsung DVD-R135 Hi-Def Conversion DVD Recorder for $59.99 plus Shipping!

Do I need to have HD to use this? And it looks like it will use re-writable DVD's, so this is essentially replacing my VHS VCR. I can basically use one disc over and over, etc. Correct?

You probably can not use it hd unless you have a hdtv with a firewire input. Contact a Samsung retailer and ask. If you can't use the Samsung here is a link to a sweet Toshiba full featured non HD DVD recorder. I own one of these. I have had it now for 3 weeks and love it. Was $499 list now $83 as factory re-manufactured. Can't be told from new and is most likely open box, store return, etc. I just posted it for all to see.
