"we pulled the door panels off of a buddy of mine's 67 LeMans and found half a pint of mexican labeled tequila and a bobbed and taped 38 special - that was a weird day for a couple of high school kids"
I had to chuckle at that one. Best thread I have read in a long time. Take a look. Mech Mike, you got something to contribute?

I've spent the last half hour reading some of those "finders" threads...amazing..and interesting!

Only interesting thing I've found was the end of what I think was either a howitzer shell or a tank shell (~5" in diameter), cut off about 3" from the primer end, that someone had been using as an ashtray.
It was under the seat of a '93 Buick Century.

I was a licensed Virginia State Inspector for about ten years, so I was in someone's glovebox or console (getting their registration and leaving their new "sticker slip") probably five times or more per working day.
I've seen more dope and related paraphernalia, firearms, knives and small martial arts-related weapons, marital aids, delicate undergarments, and the like than I'd care to remember.
I never found anything cool in any of the cars I bought over the years.
Wish I had a good story for you, but I don't...
