remote control extender

odd request i know. has anyone seen any deals on a remote extender? to extend the range upstairs for the tv remote. i've seen a couple on ebay but would rather buy at a store. has anyone used these before?

I use one for my satellite box.
it passes through two walls approximately 25 feet apart. The brand name is Terk.
