Kind of amazing how far HDD prices have fallen. 250 gig drives set you back a fair amount of coin not too long ago.

Personally, I'd stay away from Maxtor though. JMO...

I'm sure you have your reasons. I hope it will prove a good deal for someone out there in hard drive land.
Nice low price, free ship, and brand name. Of course, I admit I know little of the quality of various drives. Which drive do you recommend ?

I'm a Seagate fan, if only because of the warranty...and having both Maxtors and WD's die on me over the past few years.
