Anyone have any opinions or experience with the current crop of 802.11n routers? My 802.11g router appears to be well on its way to ruin, so I'm going to need a new one. I have 802.11n on my MacBook, so I'd really like to take advantage of the increased speeds.

Looks like the Belkin N-1 is the current favorite of the bunch. I'd really rather just get the Apple one, but I'd like one that's a gigabit router as well. Now, of course, I'm assuming that all of the pre-n equipment will work together, which I don't know for sure is true.

Any thoughts?

Zoooooooooom!!!!!

(hey you clearly said "any thoughts" and didn't specify that they had to be at all pertinent, valuable or insightful. :P)

Ok, at least I'm comforted that nobody else has much experience with these either! :)

Until my internet connection cracks the 10Mb mark, 802.11b is good enough for me!

Yeah, my main reasons are:
1) Large file transfers
2) Range

Man, there just aren't any good reviews for these things. I'm leaning toward the Apple one, but there's a couple things that I'm not totally thrilled with about it. However, I can't find any real good comparison articles.

No opinion on the routers, but if you want to get one cheap, frys.com has a refurbished Netgear one for $49.99.
