SS: Construction and Mice

I've been invaded by mice! They started construction next door to me and part of the area included an old house with some wooded area behind it. So on top of my apartment furiously shaking literally shaking from 7am - 7pm from the bulldozers with constant beeping sounds and jackhammers, I've had mice invade the apartment. It started with one. I caught that ****er and threw him out trying to be humane. Later I found another one. I killed that one because I wasn't sure if it was the same one I threw out to the alley or not. Then as I was trying to sleep I heard a rustle on the carpet and saw another one. Luckily I had a packing box next to my bad and i quickly flipped it on top of the mother****er and put a weight on top. This morning as I was trying to put a bagel in the toaster oven I saw a tail behind it. I pulled back the toaster oven and a mouse scurried away and fell behind the stove. :mad2: :mad3: :fal:

Get a few of these bad boys. Catch and release a few blocks from your house, you'll be good. And no mess to clean up.

Save the traps, wash them out and reuse them. Wal-Mart should have them. Problem solved.

And the work next door may have just got them all confused and that is why you're seeing them now. They may have made a home in your apartment long before this and just keep out of sight.

Decon? Basically Coumadin. Makes them bleed out. (Anticoagulant.)

I'd go with the trap idea. Or just good old mousetraps. Or a CO2 pellet/bb gun. Nice and quiet, and will make short work of them.

Or you could just get an aquarium with a mesh top and a wheel or two. :)

H <---not a big fan of rodents, except for rabbits. Rabbits are cool. Possums and Armadillos, though technically not rodents, aren't so cool. Was invited last year to help clear a bunch of 'dillas out of someone's property. .22 Buckmark with a red dot site and a spotlight. ;)

Well I managed to catch 5 in one day and I have not seen anymore since then. The glue traps seemed to work the best. No blood, no mess, no dead rodent behind the fridge stinking up the place. I also put some pressure on the HOA and had them come out and put some traps outside.
