outlook express error code

i have a client using outlook express and gets this error code: 0x800CCC6D "the message could not be sent because it's size exceeds the server limit."

i searched google and couldn't find anything that helps.

anyone here can help?

Well, not to be the one to point out the obvious, but I'm guessing that it means that an attachment on their e-mail exceeds the size limit set on the server.

I.e, if there is a 10MB attachment limit set on the server & they attach an 11MB file, they'll get that error when the try to send it.

after talking with the client, it became apparent that she didn't set her SMTP server to her ISP's SMTP server as we told her. DOH. *sigh* those clients.
