Playstation3? <crickets chirping>

Just wondering if anyone actually kept theirs? A friend of a friend who works for BestBuy says that about half of the PS3s they sell get returned. Sony seems to be sucking wind big time with this fiasco - just look at the Games threads - looks like the Wii forum. So did anyone keep one, or has everyone traded it in for a Wii by now?

The quick rise and fall of the PS3 has been amazing. I was in BB yesterday and there were units stacked all over the shelf.

Waiting on 360 v2 to come out. I love my original XBox, am a big fan of sports games, so see no need to change to the Wii. I can see why people love them so much, but just doesn't appeal to me. :shrug:

I went Wii from the outset. Went to Best Buy the other day, still PS3's sitting there, no wii. I went one time and saw a few wiis and a bunch of PS3's, But the wii's were soon gone.

Anywho, yeah, PS3 = The Suck.

Another thing...think of the folks who dropped $1500 or so on the PS3 when they first came out (eBay). Wonder how the feel now? :gle:

Yeah, some can afford to just throw money around, but you know some of those people were buying them for Christmas. If they had waited just a few more weeks, they could have saved around $1000...or in some cases, more.

Yeah, and haven't they already determined that their numbers are lower then the Wii? I'm not sure if that's true or not, but I'll see if I can find info on it.

But I mean.. The shipped numbers. I mean, I guess that pretty much says that Wii shipped more, or PS3 sold less, was just wondering what the numbers are.

It's disturbing enough to see news anchors and such in HD...I don't think I want to see porn in 1080p. It just shows WAY too much detail.

I have a PS3 (didn't want to sell it) and I absolutely hate it. None of the games are compelling and I'm pretty sure the next game I'll be using the PS3 for is God of War 2, a PS2 game.

The 360 is far better and the Wii is much more innovative and fun.

Haha, a friend of mine bought a PS3 purely to play "Warship Gunner 2" which is an older PS2 game. He didn't have a PS2, and wanted to play that game, and for some reason loves Sony.
