What a toolbag this guy is. All the talent in the world, but is literally throwing everything away. Multiple fights, beating up strippers, shootings...what else is left? Time for the Titans to cut this guy, and for the other 31 teams in the league to turn their back on him.

Check out the highlighted portions of the article. :2far:

Yeah, I support TO and Bonds, but at least those guys stay off the police blotter. This guy has only been a pro for a few years, and he already has had multiple run-ins with the law.

Oh yeah, what university did he attend again? :hihi:

Adam "Pacman" Jones was at the scene of a triple shooting at a Las Vegas Strip Club a week ago and although police said he is only a witness there are allegations he knows the shooter and may have started the mle.

Exclusive conversations from a drug investigation revealed more into Jones' association with trouble.

In March, 2006 Metro Police announced some major drug arrests. A lot of the evidence for the arrests was from conversations police had taped with different dealers. Although Jones faced no charges in connection with the investigation, his name was mentioned in the taped recordings.

In one of Metro's largest busts to date, the drug trafficking investigation netting nearly 2,000 pounds of drugs, nine major arrests and more than 20 vehicles; the most noticeable was a Cadillac linked to Jones.

Jones faced no charges in the drug investigation. The car wasn't registered to him and was apparently borrowed for a rap video.

Jones' buddy convicted drug dealer Darryl Moore was the center of the investigation and now his conversations may be very telling of Jones' own problems.

"We gotta slow down, man. We gotta get him focused on football, man. He's focused on too much other s****," Moore said.

NewsChannel 5 obtained wiretapped phone conversations between Moore and his friends. In one conversation he talked about Jones throwing his money into gambling, putting thousands of dollars on college games to make a quick buck.

Moore, a convicted Felon now facing another round of hard time, actually worried Jones was spiraling out of control.

Moore said he cared about his friend and how all of his habit could affect his career.

"You know, I was talkin' to him the other day about smokin', and he was like man, if I didn't smoke I couldn't take all the stress that I'm dealing with right now,'" Moore said.

Moore also talked about Titans Head Coach Jeff Fisher who he said visited Jones at home.

"Fisher's being as patient as a m*****f***** as he can. Fisher gotta win. Fisher trying to win...He ain't putting up with that s***," Moore said.

The Titans have said in the past they've talked to Jones. Lawyers and judges have certainly counseled him as well.

"He gotta concentrate on season...that ******* drug test coming up," he said. "We telling him he needed 33 days before he took his ******* test; dry-out, and he didn't...that's let me know right there that he ain't taking his ****** job serious."

Jones faced no charges in connection with the drug arrests. He has not been charged with anything in the Vegas incident.

However, Moore has been indicted and will face trial next month.

Titans management has not commented specifically on Jones future with the team except to say they have talked about it, will talk to Pacman and there is always the potential of letting him go.

Nope, he hasn't been named anything more than a witness. BUT according to the now paralyzed bouncer, he threw a bag full of money in the air and a couple dancers went after it. "making it rain" is the term I think they used. Then when the girls started to fight, the bouncer(s) went to break it up and this guy and is group wouldn't let him. Fight then broke out and someone got shot.

This happened over the all star weekend here. That was a mess :disa:

This guy doesn't impress me. It's like he is skating on thin ice really close to a fire that is melting that ice.

Buh...bye...

Nice job by the Commish in laying the smackdown on these two. Henry gets a half season as well...

And no pay? Maybe Pacman will have to cut back on the strippers and the bling bling.

Adam "Pacman" Jones of Tennessee was suspended Tuesday for the 2007 NFL season and Chris Henry of Cincinnati received an eight-game suspension -- both for numerous violations of the NFL's personal conduct policy.

The two players are suspended without pay, the NFL announced.

After they serve their suspensions, each player must apply for reinstatement.

"We must protect the integrity of the NFL," commissioner Roger Goodell said. "The highest standards of conduct must be met by everyone in the NFL because it is a privilege to represent the NFL, not a right. These players, and all members of our league, have to make the right choices and decisions in their conduct on a consistent basis."

In a letter to each player, Goodell wrote: "Your conduct has brought embarrassment and ridicule upon yourself, your club, and the NFL, and has damaged the reputation of players throughout the league. You have put in jeopardy an otherwise promising NFL career, and have risked both your own safety and the safety of others through your off-field actions. In each of these respects, you have engaged in conduct detrimental to the NFL and failed to live up to the standards expected of NFL players. Taken as a whole, this conduct warrants significant sanction."

Jones' off-field conduct has included 10 incidents where he was interviewed by police. The most recent took place in Las Vegas during the NBA All-Star weekend. Las Vegas police have recommended felony and misdemeanor charges against Jones after a fight and shooting at a strip club that paralyzed one man.

Henry was arrested four times in a 14-month span, resulting in two benchings by coach Marvin Lewis and a two-game league suspension. He was one of nine Bengals arrested in nine months.

Jones' suspension carries the following conditions:

• He must have no more run-in with law enforcement.

• He must comply with all required counseling, education, and treatment assigned by the NFL or the judicial system.

• He must obey the restrictions that have been agreed to by he and the Titans.

• He may not be at the Titans' facility through May 31 and may not participate in any practices or workouts during his suspension. Starting June 1, he must visit the team facility once per week to meet with the team's player development director. Also, beginning June 1, he is permitted to spend one day a week at the team facility for conditioning, film study, and other activities.

• In conjunction with the Titans, Jones must develop a structured program of community service or other activity. This program must be submitted to the NFL for approval.

Henry will be reinstated after the Bengals' eighth regular-season game if he meets the following conditions:

• He must have no more run-in with law enforcement.

• He must comply with all required counseling, education, and treatment assigned by the NFL or the judicial system.

• He is allowed to be at the Bengals' facilities during the rest of the offseason and he must meet weekly with the team's player development director.

• If he fully complies with all conditions, he may participate in the training camp and Bengals preseason games.

• During the 2007 season, he must meet weekly with the team's player development director, but he may not attend or participate in practice.

• He must fully comply with all conditions imposed on him by any court, including requirements of community service.

If Jones and Henry do not fully comply with these conditions, they could be permanently banished from the NFL.

"I must emphasize to you that this is your last opportunity to salvage your NFL career," Goodell wrote to the players. "I urge you to take full advantage of the resources available to support you in that effort."

Does he learn from this or do you think it's the catalyst that will spin him out of control?

I think the Titans cut him. I think being out of football for a year, with his track record of behavior, doesn't bode well for his future career. I think he's definitely lost his chance at big money.

Look, the guy will be out for a year. No doubt that he won't be in the same shape 12 months from now as he would have been if he was a member of the team. And what team is going to pay top dollar for him now? If anything, some team takes a flyer on him, he has a decent year, and he parlays that into a good payday. But nothing, nothing like he would have received if he hadn't run afoul of the league. :2far:

The same university that Chris Henry, who was suspended today by the new commish for 8 games, attended.
