I went to Breckenridge, CO last month and thought I'd post a few pics from the trip.
We stayed in the condo pictured on the left right on one of the ski runs. The place was very nice and roomy. Good thing because there were 12 of us plus the baby.

speaking of the baby, isn't she getting fat?

we generally stayed together as a group for the first couple of runs and then split up. the girls really didn't want to hit the hard stuff very often. well, except for my wife. she's a tremendous skier and could hang with us with very little effort.

here's my wife and i taking a break in the snow while waiting for others to come up the lift

it was great staying slopeside. we could get up, get breakfast, and roll out quickly to the slopes. we could then just come back for lunch and not have to worry about shelling out tons of cash for food on the mountain.

but most of the time it was cold and windy. and i mean very cold and extremely windy. temps the first two days were -5 to maybe 7 at the bottom with winds in the 30-50mph. that's not a ton of fun. a few people got frostburn on their cheeks.

I am going to Co on the 26th. Hope they get all that white stuff out of their system before I get there. Great pics. Baby is a keeper.

Just trying to call you a stereotypical drunk with a bright red nose.
You actually look quite fit (in that nice white sweater, it's FAB-U-lous :hihi: ) so it's probably just something you have to deal with, short of surgery (which I'd recommend against. I'd rather someone call me a cherub than look like a plastic surgery disaster...)

Next time you should go to Keystone, Copper or Vail. Bigger mountains. Breck is very wide, but not much vertical elevation. Keystone is HUGE. So is copper. Copper mtn is down the highway 1 exit and it has a great vert elevation. Vail is nice and big too. Here's the drawbacks to each resort:
Copper Mountain, not that big but a little crowded compared to the others. Great for boarders. Good park too. Vert elevation isn't that great, only 2601 ft, but the summit elevation is 12313.
Vail-pricey. But if you go to blue sky basin and there's powder, you're in heaven. The other thing is that it's difficult to get to each part of the mountain if you're a boarder. Lots of catwalks. No fun for boarders. Forget eating anywhere on the mtn unless you bring it. BUCKS! Summit elevation is 11,570 ft.
Keystone-can't think of anything bad. I hiked up to Independence bowl and it's crazy up there. 12,614 summit elevation, vert elevation 3128.
Now if you're a skier and you like the bumps, the place you really should go to is winter park/mary jane. CRAZY moguls there. They're the size of a vw bug. Well at least that wide. And they're like 5 ft tall. Crazy. Sucks when you're on a board.
Another place you should try to go to is Whistler/Blackcomb. Talk about a huge resort. It took us 1.5 hrs to come down from the top of the mtn to the bottom on the last run of the day. Man can you say cramping quads! Now that place is just unbelievable. The mountains here are ginormous. I mean seriously big. Vertical elevation 5280 feet. Yes that's 5280 ft. But only 7494 to the summit. The snow is different from the rockies. It's very wet compared to colorado. I'd take a powder day in Colorado over the west cost any day. But I have to say that Blackcomb IS one of the best mountains in North America. I've been all over tahoe and colorado and they pale in comparison.
So next time try either keystone or whistler. You WON'T be disappointed.

never been to wh/bc. i've been to most of the other resorts you've mentioned. been to vail, keystone, a-basin, breck, and durango in colorado. solitude, park city, brighton, and snowbird in ut. hood and bachelor in oregon. baker in washington state. and a bunch of crap places here in the mid-west.
my favorite is likely brighton in utah. tons and tons of fun.
