why does the weather have to get all warm and nice BEFORE my trip to a warm and nice place?? i want it to be miserable before i leave so i can enjoy warm and nice even more so.

This was a beautiful weekend in the Chicago area - sunny and in the mid-50s. They are predicting mid 60s for Tuesday and cooling off after that.

Yesterday set a record high temperature in Chicago for the date: 73 degrees (old record was 72). Still nice today (though not quite as warm and clear).

Yeah...

80 degrees here in DC today, though the rain is coming in. This is the annual "spring time tease" that we get; it will probably be back down in the 40's and 50's before long.

As long as it doesn't snow anymore, I don't care...

Feels good to be in shorts and tshirt again. It was freakin' hot the past couple of days... 88+ but it's a welcome from the cold... I guess the groundhog was right, spring has come early!

This winter had it's few moments, but overall it was kinda lame. I'm always torn since I hate freezing my butt off but at the same time I'm an avid snowboarder. go figure.
