S: Satellite XOR Ipod in my Audi

Turns out that in my new Audi A3, I can either get satellite radio OR the IPod link but not both. I'd just ordered both, when the audi dealership was kind enough to call me and tell me I can't install both.

Turns out they use the same wiring harness behind the radio. Better to find out now than $300 later in my garage with a box of parts.

I'd almost see if you could skip any kind of radio installation and get an aftermarket headunit that has both.

sate = head unit?

the built in head unit is way too nice to swap out. It integrates with the entire car - the HUD in the dash shows the song, station. The roller buttons on the steering wheel let me change radio stations & volume.

sate would be short for satellite, and I don't use a head unit, but I know there are ones that have line in ports.
