Interesting article. I tried to buy a Wii for my God-son and had a heck of a time. If I didn't have the connections (I have old employees in stores all over town) I would have come up empty. All the cc and bb's are empty.

How about a friggin price drop? I'm happy with the game quality on the PS2; why the hell would I upgrade?

I don't think the 360 needs to drop. Retailers have been offering discounts and coupons more frequently though (like 10% off). I think the 360 has so many game titles, as compared to the Wii and the PS3. That's my biggest complaint with the Wii right now: NEEDS MORE GAMES (and quality games: no ant bully, rampage, or rapala bass fishing please). 360 is still selling pretty well, so I wouldn't think they would need to lower their prices.

Aren't they getting ready to release a new version of the XBox 360? If this is the case, I would imagine you will not see a price drop until the new release.

wii is more family orientated gaming system!
