There are a couple in town- Seaport Villiage, Belmont Park in Mission Beach and this one at Balboa Park near the zoo entrance.

Cotton candy and a carousel, and not a care in the world. :)

Do parents ever freak out when they see you taking pics of their kids? Just wondering...

I try not to focus on kids- they can add interest to a photo though. In this case, I was using my wide angle and a person would probably not be able to tell what was included in the shot- it looks like I am just getting a shot of the carousell which was my actual intent. Gee- this sounds kind of creepy. But it is a valid question. If I get the feeling that someone is looking at me in a questioning way, no matter what I am shooting, I usually put my camera down. I don't often feel comfortable taking pictures of people I don't know.

Yeah, I didn't mean to insinuate that you were looking for kids to shoot. Freakin' kid toucher. (j/k)

I would imagine that some people would be bothered by it, especially parents. But there's a tasteful way to do things, and it looks like you do a good job of it. :thumb:

The little girl is probably wishing for a real pony/horse, of her own.
