I thought you meant G-Dub. Kid should be glad Cheney wasn't around. :fal:

Seriously, what a total non-story. I like the kids "...you just assaulted him" line. Whatever. She pushed him off the wall, that could nearly be considered a love tap.

And showing off the war wounds? C'mon...talk about some minor stuff.

It was a kid so she pushed him. Had it been a adult she would have told him to stop.

I bet she gets a desk job and time off minimum.

Maybe she was checking his skills  If he was any good he would have ollied that bush. Not that big a deal for the lady, maybe just some anger management classes and perhaps a few extra day off here and there ;)

kind of messed up, if there are no signs the kid is in full right to do what he was doing, she has no right to land a hand on him, hope she gets fired

:stupid: i concur its was battery pure and simple she should suffer the same consequnces as any one else convicited of the same crime if that involves her losing her job then so be it but either way it was completly uncalled for, and straight up illegal

I watched this on the news, and even though apparently skateboarding in public is "illegal" in that town, she had no justification to push him.

As for those claiming it was no more then a love tap, the damage could have been worse...broken arm, broken rib, etc...

The penalty for doing anything to a cop is always worse then if done to a civilian, such as murder or assault. I believe it should also work the other way as well. If a cop does anything illegal their punishment should be worse then others as they are paid to uphold the law.

Thanks bitch, you just alienated another young citizen who will now treat you and the rest of your kind like the plague and will never again be helpful to you. Nice.

To protect and serve I think is the motto, no?

He should.

I'll give you that it's hard to tell the whole story, without knowing if it was or wasn't illegal for them to be skating there.

If it was, then yeah...the kid should be able to go to the police again. WTH, why not? He was violating a law/ordinance, she knocked him out of line. I'm pretty sure he'll survive to see another skating day.

She was protecting and serving, just not the kid breaking the law...:D

MikeD: out of curiousity, why are you invariably so quick to defend authority figures? Police, border patrol agents, school administrators, etc... and especially when kids are involved.

Seems like you're the only one doing that in this thread.
