Ma's baked ham, and leftover ham sandwiches.

One year when I was a kid my younger brother and I received a giant chocolate cream filled chocolate egg. Thing had to be at least 7 inches long and about 4 inches in diameter. Thing took me a week to eat. Best thing I ever got on Easter, to this day I've never found another one like it, and my folks can't remember them.

For me, last chance at "peeps" products until Halloween. Leave 'em sitting out for a day or two to harden up, then they take their best consistency.

Peeps are good

I like coloring eggs - using different things to make lines, shapes, designs etc.

A couple years when I was a kid, mom would let us make little scenes inside eggs. We would carefully crack open just one side leaving a 1 1/2 or so inch hole, wash and let them dry. We would use homemade dough colored green as the foundation inside the egg and cut out flowers and animals from cards recieved over the year to decorate inside the egg. Then we would use ribbon and sequins to decoratate around the edge of the egg's opening.
We would set them on rings or on top of empty thread spools and those would be decorated too.

I need to make them again. :)

You know, I like them and all, but they're one of those candies that gets way too sweet, way too fast.

So if I have more than one in a sitting, ugh.
