i was /am just not sure yet . we were to / are taking my conversion van full of my daughers stuff down for a new place she was going to rent with a girlfriend . only problem is she got the call today after i /we packed it all up that her friend .saids shes backing out as to be her room mate for the next year .so now im sitting here at midnight with a van full of crap .a daughter not sure whats she is doing for a apartment .if she even feels like us driving down tomorrow . she knows she has to be back to work on monday .and to get a flight is crazy high right now .as its spring break time .and also last min. to book one .
im like lets just go and take are time .we stop in kentucky at mammoth caves 8 hours south of me .and do some site seeing .and then drive to clearwater .and i rent a storage space for a month till she figures it all out .she staying at her grand parents winter home right now with them right now anyway .they dont really want her to stay the summer there alone .and i understand .keep in mind there in there 70-80 .and set in there ways .
she also is a first year teacher and knows she wants to switch schools next term .
this was her first term teaching and there inter city 6th graders and she having a ruff time at keeping them inline .its not what she was thinking it be like . reality is diffrent then when she was in collage as a student teacher .and she has to make some real adjustments !
anyway as her dad im trying to understand and make it as easy as possible .of a bad exspirance and knowing she has to just put that right foot forward .so i think im going to get us off on the road tomorrow .and take a side trip or two along the way .
i plan on staying down till after easter anyway .but this should turn very interesting and her mom who she is closer to .has to stay her becouse of her work sch. if i could i let mom handle it .(i'd pass the buck ) but it cant be .wish me luck hoping to hit the road by 10 am tomorrow anyway !
