GeForce 2 GTS cards

I'm gonna get my brother this card for Christmas. Anyone know of any especially delicious deals? So far I've got an Annihilator 2 for 196 @ buy.com shipped.

got apex did you look into getting the GTS creative annhiliator 2 64mb ddr? for around 270 using the 30 off coupon?

i bought that last week..its pretty good...

Why bother with a retail package? As the owner of a Creative labs Annihilator 2 GTS I can assure you won't be getting much of a bundle. The bundle consisted of a cd with the drivers for the various windows operating systems on it and a cd with nvidia demos. The first thing you do is download the latest GeForce drivers (http://www.reactorcritical.com/download.shtml#1000) since the drivers on the cd are outdated. As for the nvidia demos you can download them from nvidia's website. (http://www.nvidia.com/Products/demos.nsf/demos) So basically the cds were a waste. You do get a nice box though which Apex if he had saw it would say was nice. :heh:

As for other manufacturers GTS cards like hercules and elsa you'll be paying much more money for their GTS card and bundle. Its just not worth it.

Once you get the card just put it in a fancy box you have laying around and wrap it up real nice. :)
