View Full Version : Where to buy a laptop keyboard?

A bunch of keys have fallen off my Dell Inspiron D600 keyboard.
I'd like to buy a new replacement but i'm not sure who to deal with. Seems like the places that come up in my google search are places i've never heard of before.

Can anyone point me to a decent place to buy from? Price really isn't a major issue.

First place to try is Dell themselves. Call & ask to talk to someone who can sell parts (call the small biz number). I got a Latitude D800 keyboard from them a couple of years ago for $20. YMMV on this - sometimes they'll sell parts, sometimes not. I think it has to do with who you talk to.

Second best place is ebay.

I have purchased numerous parts for our Inspiron 2650 from these guys.
Great people to deal with.
They do have the parts in stock, and the price is great also.
