My company has asked me to look into purchasing a laptop with the capability of running dual monitors.

The plan is to use 2 projectors as our "monitors" which would be ran off of a laptop.

Any advice as to what videocards to be looking for when shopping around for this laptop? It seems none of the videocard specs i've been looking at specifically say that they can run dual monitors. But for the price of some of these cards, i suspect they can.

Thanks!

If you can't find a laptop that suits your needs, you might see if there is a docking station that supports two monitors.

Looks like you need something like this...

Probably cheaper than finding a laptop with 2 video outs.

DF or Markel's suggestions may be your best bet (external device or docking station). Practically ALL laptops support dual display, but the assumption is that one of the displays will always be the LCD. So you can run a projector + the LCD, or a monitor + the LCD, but I don't think I've ever seen a laptop that actually supports multiple external displays.

My T41p can support two external displays when used with a docking station. One has to be analog, one digital.

Hp also have a similar docking station. One analog and other DVI. dUAL OUTPUT.
