hm... so this site had a program where u log in... click around... and get points for exploring their website... well basically u can get up to 100 points a day and by the end of this year if you had over 6000 points you would recieve a palm V... so i go to the site... and poof no more point system no more advertisements about the point system.... are they allowed to do this??
that's a good question, because in a brick and mortor store situation that would be illegal, but there dont seem to be any laws that govern the internet. there is a lot of bait and switch bullsh!t going on and i never hear of anyone getting busted

Here's their reply:
Dear Sepuede Members,
In the past week we have received numerous e-mails from our membership advising us of their inability to access the site during intermittent intervals. The message generated is:
Error Diagnostic Information
Server busy or unable to fulfill request. The server is unable to fulfill your request due to extremely high traffic or an unexpected internal error. Please attempt your request again (if you are repeatedly unsuccessful you should notify the site administrator). (Location Code: 25)
After extensive diagnostic testing, which included but was not limited to traffic analysis, data audits, and system capability tests, we have determined that the primary cause of the problem is due to fraudulent activity by participants of the Reward Program. Unfortunately, these violations of our "Official Reward Rules" and "Terms and Conditions of Service" are jeopardizing the stability of the Sepuede site and thereby undermining our core business initiatives. After careful consideration, therefore, and in accordance with the "Terms and Conditions of Service" we have no alternative but to execute our termination option and discontinue the Rewards Program effective immediately.
As you know, the Rewards Program was initiated in good faith as a means to reward members for contributing to the growth and expansion of our new site. Therefore, complete and thorough data audits will be conducted to identify legitimate participants of the Rewards Program. Legitimate members who complied with the "Official Reward Rules" and the "Terms and Conditions of Service" will be contacted via e-mail after the audit has been completed.
