One of my best friends is making the worst mistake of his life and getting married next month ;) We're taking him to Vegas for his bachelor party. We'll probably be out and about for most of the night, so we don't need the nicest suite available, but it would be nice if we weren't staying at Circus Circus. Can anyone recommend a nice place there on the strip close to all the action?
Thanks!

I hear that prices at the Stardust have hit rock bottom....
Venetian is really nice and all of the rooms are suites. There were 5 of us in the room and it was comfortable for us to get some shut eye.

Bachelor party in Vegas?? Personally I'd expect nothing less than passing out on a sidewalk, public restroom, or jail cell in a pool of vomit and used condoms. Git wit da program, bro!

If you're only doing one night why even bother with a hotel room? Save money and spend it at the strip club or playing blackjack!
I had my bachelor party in Vegas but we did a long weekend (Thursday-Sunday). I'm very glad we had a room to recover in but depending on what time everyone plans on leaving the next day it may not be worth spending the money on a room.

Hit the strip clubs and casinos. You are not going to do anything "special" in the room so why get an expensive one?

Honestly it all depends on what you are looking to spend. You cant go wrong with staying at the Hard Rock Hotel...its on Harmon and Trop (I think - its about three blocks behind the main strip). Generally a younger crowd, tons of hot women, and the pool cant be beat during the day.
Personally, 1 day isnt enough. You should go for at least several days.

Thanks everyone. I would love to stay a few days but my buddy has a bunch of friends who can't make it to Vegas. We are going to party hard one night here in San Diego with the big group, then the next day head out to Vegas with just a couple of people.
I'll research all your suggestions, and let you know what I go with. Thanks

And if you want cheap food late night go to Mr. Lucky's at Hard Rock and ask for the "Gambler's special" (not on menu). It's a small 4-6oz sirloin with some grilled shrimp, salad, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies for $7.77.

No Problem. Have fun! Forgot to mention that Mr. Lucky's is open 24 hours.
Check out this move...
Marriott hotels have a 4am checkin policy. After a night of gambling and drinking, you can go to the Courtyard or Residence Inn off the strip (I've stayed at both) and check in at 4am or later. You pay for one night. That one night of pay gets you 4am through the next morning, PLUS a the next night. Essentially 2 nights for the price of 1, if you are willing to wait until 4am or later to get a room.

Now that's a good idea. You shouldn't be going to bed before 6am anyhow!
