Only $53 up front with a $10 MIR. If you can come up with a second address (parent, sibling, friend, etc.) you can slap 2 GB into your notebook for a mere $86 AR. Through 04/29/07. FREE shipping. No sales tax in most states. And from a very reputable retailer... ZipZoomFly!

Price keeps dropping. Was $56 yesterday, $55 this morning, $54 after lunch today, $53 as of this posting. Maybe by 04/29/07 it will be free!!! (Wishful thinking.)

It's getting to the point that memory, CPU's, writers and hard drives are so cheap that you feel guilty for not building a new computer.

Possibly, but not really...

More or less, this might take some of the sting out of it, but overall, the total bite from buying a new CPU, motherboard, memory and video card still makes the upgrade somewhat painful.

But hey... we all have to determine whether or not we actually NEED a new computer, even though the reduced prices do make it pretty tempting. :D
