I found an old Kodak DC4800 digital camera. It has firmware 1.00 so I downloaded the last firmware update which was 1.04. I can't get the camera to install it. I unzipped the firmware file, put in on a CF card, put the card in the camera and tried "Review" mode and it didn't recognize the file. I tried "Setup" and all the various other camera menu options. The camera just doesn't recognize or execute the unzipped file. I also stuck the zipped file on the CF card to see if that would work. Neither does. How do you update the firmware on a Kodak DC4800?
Thanks!

All I've been able to dig up is to create a \system folder and put the firmware file into it. I don't know if the camera will automatically update the firmware from here, but it's a start.

Great job GuruX! I just created a subfolder called "system" on the CF card, put the firmware file into it and it worked right away. Very easy upgrade once I got the directions.
Thanks again!
