i bought a 12 sheet paper shedder in june of 2006 . on my last trip wife used it and over filled it .anyway she jammed up the feeder /shredder cutters . today i called becouse i remembered that it came with a 1 year warrienty and 7 year on the cutter wheels . i call the store after i recovered the sales slip . i was lucky there i omit.
the store said to call a company called -Shredcare .they have a 800 no.and they handle it .
i say fine and there on my same time zone . but there line i can get but there a problem . all you get is a recording telling you to punch this no. your phone .but it not working .and you can't even talk to a human .there phone system is total messed up.
so i call the retail store back and is told try that no .again in a couple of hours maybe there just swap . i think ok maybe they are . 3-4 hours later i call again same problem .
well i call the store back speak to a store mrg . he asks me for the no. so im on hold he trys .he got the same crap i did .
he saids bring the unit in and he give me a store credit .he not suppost to .but he knows what im going though.
NOW IM THINKING TO MYSELF THIS WHOLE TIME .MY WIFE SCREWED UP THE CUTTING WHEELS .AND IM GOING TO AT A MIM .HAVE TO PAY FOR NEW ONES AS SHE OVER JAMMED THEM AND BENT THEM .
BUT I GOT TO WALK INTO THE STORE .GET A NEW IN THE BOX 20 SHEET SHREDDER .FOR MY OLD ONE AND also keep the lable printer that came with the old 12 sheet unit my wife total jammed up and bent the cutter wheels !(this was human error not machine malfunction )
now to remember to keep sale slips warrientys are passed on all items .think tomorrow i need to buy new shoes so i have a box slips.:cheers:
