Corsair HX520 or HX620 -- very reliable PSUs that are fairly quiet.

They may be a bit more expensive than Antec or Enermax, but if you want extremely reliable, these units are amazing. :)

I've been very happy with my enermax. I don't remember the model number, but I know it's a 500w modular PSU with a 120mm fan.

thanks alot guys....time to break out the credit card.

I would like to get one with detachable cables but is it really worth the price?

If you have the cash, then I'd recommend one of the PC Power and Cooling power supplies.

Currently I'm using their 750W model and I'm very pleased with it. Of course if you don't need that much power, they do have lower powered units as well. :D

Yup... but honestly these guys really know what they are doing in regards to providing clean power.

BTW... I found that if you go to their website, you can get good deals on their refurbished PSUs... which still come with a 5 year warranty! :wow:

Pretty much, for the peace of mind, it's worth it. :thumb:

What DF says - by far. I'm saving up to replace mine with a PC Power & Cooling - there are no better ones on the market, as far as I'm concerned.

Be sure to check out their deals here:

Since even their refurbished units come with the standard 5 year warranty, you have nothing to lose by buying one and only "money to save" :thumb:
