Echo just announced that it too, just like AllAdvantage, is going to a sweepstakes formate for redeeming points as opposed to prizes. What a barrel of moose piss!!

I hear you on that one. I just read that email and this totally sucks. It was fun while it lasted though. They still owe me 5 more gift certificates.

I guess that we all should have seen this coming. It won't be long until they go under I think, just like good old pointclick.com

This shiznit cracks me up. Do they actually think that people are still going to use this? This line is hilarious in the email:

"Echo will be rolling out these exciting changes on January 1, 2001. That means you have until 01/01/01 to redeem your Echo Points for prizes under the terms of the current Rewards program. But, then again, who wants to go for an $18 gift certificate when you can win $5,000?"

Uh...I don't know danny...probably everyone that you currently have signed up??

These internet start ups are so friggin clueless it amazes me. How do they ever get the start up money?
