Here's one for $89. Don't know how good it is; never heard of Tavtaura.

yah, from what i hear, the best one out now for cheap is the Classic CM415 ($99), only available at circuitcity (that's the only place i've seen it).

avoid the memorex one (skipping problems), and i haven't heard much about the d-link one. i know the d-link doesn't support id3 tags though while these other two do.

the philips expanium is very good but expensive (199) and doesn't support id3 tags. the rca one to come out looks like the most promising but who knows when and how much.

There're quite a few people who have had problems with the Philips Expanium (sp?). Just go to MP3.com (http://www.mp3.com/) and look under "Portable" players.

There's been a recent explosion of selections of MP3/CD players. I'm still waiting for a good 2nd/3rd generation player myself. :hmm:
