New Addition

Hey folks,

Please say hello to my new hatchling: Anna. Mrs. Kevster had to deliver via C-Section after some things weren't looking good, and both mother and baby had some complications that required Anna going into the Neonatal ICU and Mrs. Kevster into surgery. It's been a crazy 48 hours over here, but things are finally starting to get better. Oh, Anna also weighed in at 9lbs, 14oz - no gestational diabetes or anything else out of the ordinary, just a very big baby. :)

Any ideas on a screen name for this little one? :D

sweet! how cool is that? what i tell all new dads when they're looking all bleary-eyed is that they should mark weeks on a calendar. if they can make it that far, it's smooth(er) sailing sleepwise from there on out.

Just a quick update, not-so-little Anna is doing well, but still in the Neonatal-ICU. We see her every day and now we're able to start feeding her. Hopefully if all goes well we might get to bring her home Sunday. :)

Update: Here's a pic of not-so-little Anna and her mother, Mrs. Kevster, in the N-ICU. Not my best shot, especially since she moves around a LOT. I may try to get a wider shot next time so I don't run into focus issues so much.
