Would anyone like to sell me their old SVGA card. I know a lot about video cards after the S3 virge, but if this card is even before that, it would be fine as long as it is capable of 256 colors @ 1024 x 768 in Windows w/ 60hz refresh. . . otherwise, it is a bit too old.

Thank you,
Jason

Feel free to e-mail me and/or make your offer public in case anyone else wants one.

I need one too, so if any of you have a spare one sitting around, email me. I would need it BY TUESDAY.

How about a card using the old technology, I think it was called VLB. Before there were 3 buses. ISA, PCI, and one last one, which I think is VLB. If I am wrong, feel free to correct me, not flame me :)

I have a couple older 4 meg pci matrox cards...email me at [email protected] if any of you are interested.

In reply to calng: I think it's called VESA bus. Not sure, but I know that there was this bus called VESA...I think that's what your thinking of.

So if you guys want cards, just email me, I have like 2 or 3 or 4, not sure. I had one 1/2 meg ISA card, along with a bunch of other cards (video cards, sound cards, and whatever else...I think 6 or 8 cards in all) up on my Yahoo Auctions here:

http://user.auctions.yahoo.com/user/tibauctions?

It's the one on the bottom.... "A Bunch of ISA Cards."

But besides those, I have like 3 or so PCI matrox cards for sale, too.

Thanks for you offers!

ahhh young people :disa:

VLB is Visa Local Bus. This bus was designed for the 486 (even though some early pentium motherboards did have it, it was buggy) It was basically an ISA bus with an extended end. It competed directly with the PCI bus and as we all know PCI won.

Haven't bought anything yet, but just to mention:

http://www.liquidationetc.com/

I found a STB Lightspeed 128 1Mb PCI at this place for $8. Not sure how much shipping is, but at least it's PCI and displays up to 1024x768. I'm not sure if anyone would be willing to sell a card under $12 shipped to me, so I am probably going to lean towards this deal. . .

Thanks guys,
Jason

And T-Man, thx for your offer, but I'm not sure if I want to use an ISA card since my mobos only have one ISA slot and I might need them for something else. Also, I think someone bidded on yours already, so gl on your autions. . .

I still have 2 or 3 4 meg pci cards....and I don't know if I'll let them go for $12 shipped, hehe...

Well $16 or so would be OK, shipping would be $3.20
I'll pay the shipping.
