This is from a couple of weeks ago. I have had a lot of things to work on and am getting caught up a bit. Part of the project is getting together some photos to make prints of to try to sell locally in some of the shops. This is one I am considering. It is taken in Pacific Beach and you can see the Crystal Pier in the background. I have more under consideration posted in my gallery. I still have a lot to do before they will be ready like supplies and figuring how much it will cost me. Shops usually sell them for twice what they buy them for. At least my entries for the San Diego County Fair are all in. That starts next week- June 9th through the 4th. I sent in six entries this year.

It is so fun. I love wide angle shots. I mostly carry it and my telephoto (70- 300mm) zoom with me.

Gives you great flexibility. Good choices. Yeah, you lose some resolution and f-stops, but better than carrying around lots of fixed lenses, and the new ones are so damn well-made and light. Gotta get a couple of lenses for my Maxxum (film.) Someday I'll get a digital SLR.
Which reminds me. Gotta send a pic to Roniman.

Some of the zooms out now are better than some of the "primes" were twenty years ago. Amazing technology available these days!
