I was just wondering if you guys had these options what would you do? Most the people at my work choose parking under a tree, I've been parking in the open cuz i really dont want tree sap on my car. :O
Park in the open? There's no trees around, direct sunlight that eventually would fade the paint.
Park under a tree? Pretty much 100% getting tree sap/leaves/bird crap weekly if not daily.
Park across the street at the mall with covered parking (about 25minutes to walk from the parking garage) o.O

in my driveway no garage . to cheap to build one i have the room for a 3 plus car garage. was going to till i got the price of cement i have to have a 42 inch footing per building code now. so when the price's were given to me i just put in a shed. kind of sorry i didn't but it was to hard for me to lay out $6000.00 plus. just to have the floor and footing installed. :(

At work, we have an open parking lot.... no trees, just a few light poles. Therefore our cars are exposed to direct sunlight for the entire workday.
At night, I park my car in my garage...
As far as sun damage from being out all day... well that's why I pay Ziebart over $200 per year to coat my car in a special polymer that filters UV rays and other enviromental hazards to my car and paint. Their process promises to protect against fading or else they will have to pay to fix it. :D

I park under the trees. Since I have no A/C, it helps keep my van a bit cooler. I don't care about bird ****...the paint job on the whole top of my van and hood is peeling off. Image isn't really something I'm worried about right now. :D

I'm not as concerned with open air/garage at work... I park far away because I enjoy the walk.

front yard without tires? engine?
When I was working, it was in the open. I hate parking under trees here because the pigions are the size of chickens. I hate them...
If I had a choice between garage/walk and open, it would depend on if I was running late :D I would like to think I would park in the garage. I know if I could get my car into my garage, I would park my car in it. Hopefully after my yardsale next weekend, I will be able to do so :) At least for the following 6 months...

How about the old-school Southern Gothic "old-pickup-truck-on-blocks-in-the-front-yard-under-the-chinaberry-tree" thing? :)
Actually, I've recently started a limo service here in Alabama:

In the wide open and hope that it doesn't get bombed by birds.

depends if I take the train or drive in, but usually it's in a covered parking garage.
