I'm trying to avoid the SC2 hype as best I can so I'm not tortured for months as Blizzard drags on their development.

I attended the first Blizzcon and had a blast. Back then I actually got to play the now never-going-to-be-released Starcraft: Ghost FPS game. It was a lot of fun and i'm disappointed it will never get released.

Be prepared to wait in long lines to do things, but if you do end up going, make sure you check out all the contests and presentations. Some of the presentations they had last time were so informative and interesting. And the contests are just hilarious. The lengths some people go make it that much more entertaining.

And if you see a dude in a green murloc costume, tell him Ray says hi :)
