I was wondering if anyone has attended the Phantom of the Opera show at the Venetian in Vegas. We tried to buy some tickets and they gave us Golden Circle ROW A. Is row A too much of a neck pain by the end of the show? Will I get splattered by spit? Or is it truly the best seats? Any suggestions on where to sit? Here is a link to the map of the theater.

I have no idea what the Venetian's theater looks like, but my preference for a musical or similar where there is a lot going on is 1st row balcony. Then you can see the entire stage, and are also guaranteed that some tall dude won't sit in front of you & block your view.

The venues in vegas are very small.
You won't get splattered with spit, but maybe a kink in the neck. Phantom is NOT the broadway production. It is a shorter version at 90 minutes and may have different songs. I can ask Misty when I get back home today. She has seen it, I haven't. I went to the Producers and there wasn't a bad seat really to be had.

You might find a bit from some of the comments in this search (http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&newwindow=1&q=venetian+%22golden+circle%22+%22row+a%22&btnG=Search). Most of the matches seem to indicate that they are desirable seats.

Not sure, but just to warn you. When I stayed at the venetian, I over heard numerous people comment about how it's a shortened version of Phantom. They said it would be hard to follow if you weren't too familiar with the story.
I know you already bought your tickets, but I thought I would give you a heads up so that you don't sit there lost and pissed off.
