View Full Version : where have all the Xbox 360 Elites gone to?

Anyone seen any xbox 360 elites at all since after the release in mid April? i havent seen/heard of any place getting any shipments since that very first initial one.

ANyone else in curious about it? i want to trade mine in and pay for the upgraded HDMI and larger HD but i gotta find a place that has it...

Best Buy stores had them in Today, SUnday 7/8/07. traded my Pro in for the Elite. =) paid more but hopefully worth it.

Do they let you just trade them in? Or did you offload your original to someone else and just buy the Elite?

They've gone to costco.com, plus with the free membership thang going on the online site, you can get one with out the 5% surcharge.

Woo, I saw one at a local Toys R Us and picked one up. It had only been 2 weeks since I had bought my 360 Premium from Circuit City so I was still able to return it. I'd say there's a totally noticeable difference over HDMI.

In response to Prngr44, i had an extended warranty that i purchased for my Pro. SInce the unit was really loud, i traded it in knowing that they will just credit the amount and i would pay the difference.

I just picked one up. The HDMI cable makes so much of a difference that all i do is play HALO2 all day. I play it so much I dont even look for a job.
