Henry Ford delivered a Model A car to his first customer, Dr. Ernst Pfenning, of Chicago, on this day in 1903. But the Model A was still far from Ford's vision—he'd put it together from parts made by other companies. Ford introduced his Model T five years later, and called it a "working man's car"— affordable even to those who worked on his mass-production lines.

With the result of union wage demands, the auto workers are one of the few groups that can afford the new cars today. :P

Weird.....there was the first Model A, then the Model T, then the Model A again in the late twenties.

I believe the Model B was in 1932.

Yep. Model B was the first V8. The French thought he had trademarked the term V8 (he hadn't) so they came out with their version called, of course, the 8V. I loves me some car trivia. Just sold my model t Saturday. Miss it already.
