I plan on getting into this one day, but how can they maintain lift while their sides like that? Interesting, but I would probably never try that at the cost.

:gle: OMFG! That's freaking insane. I can barely maintain a hover without a breeze. Electric too.

Uh...that looked fake too me. And if it was real, then I just gave them the best compliment since the moves they were doing are from a carton or a special effects house...

Didn't look real. but who knows. this was last year. you'd think it'd be more popular.

:stupid: It looked like a hummingbird on crack.

Most of the moves looked plausible though, rotating gimbals, etc. I'm just surprised it didn't take a 40 pound battery to fly for that long with that much power. Wow. I'd assume they would use a glo engine, but it was electric.

Still wanna get into flying something myself sometime. Just way broke right now. :(

Do a search for "Alan Szabo" and you'll find bios and more than a few videos. I bet the last thing this guy would want is for his reputation to be tarnished by a fake video. The entire clip lasted less than 5 minutes and the body the of heli looked like it was made of a metal/carbon weave, which is pretty high up on the exotic materials list. I'd guess 50 amps for 4 minutes with high-density cells is plausible.
