What games would you suggest for kids of a young age?

They should be good with Wii sports for a while. Wii Play has similar type games. Wario Ware is also good too...has lots of quick (and I mean quick...think 3 secs. long) micro games.

For something slightly more advanced, there's Elebits, which is kind of a "hide-n-seek" game. You rummage through your room/house/neighborhood looking for little electric creatures called elebits.

If they like car games, Excite Truck is pretty good for young players. Steering is controlled by just tilting the wiimote back and forth. Easy cheesy, yet so much fun because you get points for big air jumps and big crashes. Your boys should love it.

There's also Mario Party...fun for the whole family.

Stick to the basic games and that will be good enough for the kids :)

I have a Wii and I'd stick with Wii Sports. Mario Party 8 is not that good. All the mini games are basically the same and it takes so long for it to be your turn. I avoid it or wait until it's on sale.
