for the last 7 years i been getting free upgrade tv service from comcast for free. well the end of last week i guess they found there mistake. they changed the filter on the telephone pole. i knew i seen the cable guy on the pole working thursday and after he left i seen a filter on the ground. but we were away all weekend so we didn't watch tv till last night . then i /wife found out we were missing channels 28 - 64. i called up the cable company and say there not working . the girl tells me they did a line audit in my area and found there mistake . so now it will cost me a extra $5 a month for them to be restored .

im not really upset seeing i was aware of the error all along . the cable installer at the time said he was from out of the area and i get a diffrent filter then most. becouse thats all he had on his truck at the time.
i dont feel like i was cheating becouse the cable companys installer put in what he had at the time .
but after 7 years you think they would of done a line audit long ago .
so lets say $5.00 x 84 months = $420.00 plus 6 % tax i just saved :)

Several years back I had cable installed by Cox and the technician was very friendly and we had good conversation, just for that I got all the movie channels at no cost for 6 years. haven't been that lucky since moving.

this reminds me of the time i had cable internet but no TV. i bought all kinds of antennas, and settled for crappy OTA reception.

then after 2 years on a whim, i decided to plug the coax to the TV. lo and behold, i have RECEPTION!

i sat on it FOR TWO YEARS! ha ha!
