How long did it take for the folks who signed-up with MCI to get their Amazon GC? I signed up on the 12th and have yet to see mine. I didn't sign up on the web site either. I called the number and did it.
Thanks!

I'm waiting till my purchase arrives ("Usually ships in 1-2 weeks"), just in case they somehow have it bound to it. Not that big of a deal though, with the coupon they gave me for service it will help offset some of the higher costs that they are charging. I was paying $4.9 flat rate before the switch, but that was too good of a deal to pass up! Maybe we can switch back to our old carrier, and then come back for another $150? I don't recall seeing that in the terms, was it?

i am splitting the $150 gc to amazon with my roommate whom I share the phone line with. Anyone know if both of us can use the coupon code for $75 each. (In other words,... do you have credit if you don't use the full $150 at once. And can the gifts be mailed to seperate addy's?) thanks.

I signed up last week via their web site. just got the paperwork and calling cards in the mail today, does the Amazon GC come by e-mail or do they snail mail it to you?

Tim, I did the web also and received my info last night but no 150 bucks. I called and they didn't even have me registered for the Amazon Offer. You will need to call them and they have to submit a form to add this to your long distance order. You also must tell them that you signed up via the web for that offer. I had problems with the CSR on the phone until I asked to speak with her manager. Then all of a sudden she said oh there's a form I can fill out for you sir so that you can participate in that promotion. I SUGGEST CALLING.

I anxiously awaited the arrival of my $150 and it finally came today. I had to call them to get the deal as they didn't have me registered. Question, they sent with the $150 gift certificate a $10 towards the cost of switching to their service. On the back of the $10 check (which you send back to them as its not possible to cash it at a bank)it states that by signing you are agreeing to switch to their service. Does this mean that I have not actually switched yet? If that's true then can't my live in girlfriend call and request the same deal and get another $150 gift certificate? Just wondering.....

Yeah you are switched. I got my local phone bill before getting my MCI stuff, and I had the $5 LD carrier change fee.

I did the deal a few weeks ago. Was easy as I do own a small business. I have heard that if the phone line that you are switching is not registered under a business name than you have to call MCI and talk to a CS to get the GC.
Well anyway, Christmas was a little cheaper this year thanks to MCI and Amazon.

AND......If anyone is buying a Sony product, like me (MVC-FD95 digital camera), you can signup for a SONY CC card and get an additional 10% back when you use the card. This should make up for the shipping charges now that Amazon is charging.

I got my GC today :D And a $3 to cover the cost of switching. Now, do i send this to my local telephone company or to MCI?

put it in with your first MCI bill. I would call and ask them for a manly $10.00 check. $3 sounds like their starting to get cheap on us.
I'm thinking on switching from MCI to these guys now.
http://www.gtctelecom.com anyone else know how they are ?
I think I'll try and get them to throw in a $10 check or t-shirt or something.

I believe that if you decide to stick with MCI you can get them to offer you blockbuster video vouchers for every allottment of long distance you spend. For example, one free movie for each 10 bucks you spend on LD. I got 8 free movies so far.

Question. Is there a way to stack two $150 gcs? If I bought an ebook using one of the gc and another ebook using the other gc, would the gcs combine(minus the cost of the ebooks of course)?

I regestered for the deal on Dec. 5th, re-regestered on the 8th, had my service switched on the 12th, and as of today, still have not received my gc. Called cs at least 5 times, always given the reply "it's in the mail " or "we will send one out today." I wrote a letter to the president of MCI, and spoke to a supervisor. Still no gc.

but after you've used it email it to me and i'll send you an extra $5 per code thru paypal or citibank

I called in early December, got my GC a few days ago.
Now, I want to switch. Anybody know any good promotions for AT&T or Sprint? I know AT&T used to give cash for people to swtich. Anybody taken advantage of it lately?
Please do not post any promotions related to that scum-sucking company essential.com.

Yeah, are there currently any good deals for AT&T/MCI/Sprint? I'm wriggling out of the Essential.com deal. They did send me two $75 checks, but I feel stupid because I didn't realize they were going to charge me $16.95 per month for internet access. I swear I read everything when I signed up, and it didn't say anything about having to pay for internet access. They say I have to send back $75, which I will gladly do. Heh...

I know you guys called in about this deal but I signed up on the web in early Dec. and was too lazy to call them thinking that they never processed my form. However, last week they sent me the $5.00 credit for switching long distance carriers and just yesterday I received my $150 promotional gift for Amazon. So I guess those of you who registered online were still processed.
