Dual monitor question

Hi guys, we just set up my 2 monitors, but the way we have it set up is that the old CRT is on the left and the newer flat screen is on the right. And I have it set so my wallpaper extends to the 2nd monitor as well (well, separately, not as one big wallpaper if that makes sense). But right now, I still have to scroll off the right hand side of my LCD to get my mouse to the other screen. Is there a way to make it so if I go LEFT, it goes to that one and not right? Without making that one my primary one and the LCD my secondary?

don't know what O.S. you are using but in Windows, can't you just drag the monitor icons (with the number indicating which is 1 and which is 2) in the display properties dialog around where you want them?
