just found out that i got charged in full for both
pillows that just arrived the other day. guess i'm
stuck with em. tried calling CS about it, they basically
accused me of being a "fradulent customer"...
i asked why the order then was received by a CSR that
i talked to last week for .85 a pillow? this very
impolite CSR then said i was mistaken, that i was
fradulent, put me on hold for 15 min, etc etc.
even asking for someone in charge didn't work. she
denied the coupon was theirs, essentially told me
i'm a bad boy for using coupons. so, go figure.
stuck with 2 crappy HSN pillows for $21. steer clear
of this place in the future, no matter how good the
coupon sounds.

atomic,
Sorry to hear about your experience. I'm not sure what "pillow" deal you are referring to, but I never shop at QVC or HSN.
Whenever you factor in their shipping charges, they are just plain expensive. Even the lightest of items carry ridiculous "shipping/handling" charges.
Forget about returns...

sorry, this was in reference to the "$0.85 duck pillows"
from HSN that was posted last week using a $10 off
coupon. (shipping was free on this order)
yeah, i never ordered from HSN until this one time. i
didn't realize how lame though they really were. i mean,
they executed this order really without my permission.
they never said they were going to bill me in full, just
the opposite, they said the coupon worked (and this
was a person i talked to, not on the website).
i would send em back, but don't want to spend on shipping..
so..i'm stuck with this one.

if you used coupon only once. and have the email conf. you can dispute the charges with your CC company.

because i did this over the phone, they didn't re-send
me an email confirmation. so...nice idea though.
yeah, this CSR wouldn't give her name, her boss,
told me "i don't know how to do business", and hung
up on me...
i had such good impressions of tv shopping networks
after watching Eddie Murphy's "Holy Man"...
oh well, this shattered that image.
call them up with your email for backup. I got my pillow last night..tightdeal for 85cents

I believe the coupon is for online only. Phone order have different sets of coupon. If you didn't get email confirmation, or proof of anything, I don't think there's much you can do about it.

Bottom line is that you can still dispute this with your CC company! I would call HSN and tell them that they mislead you and that you are going to dispute this with your CC company if they do not arrange for a free pickup (UPS, FEDEX) and a refund! I don't think your CC company would want to lose a good customer over a measly $21. I wouldn't stand for this chit...war would have been declared after the CS called me a fraudulant consumer among other things.

I tried to use it the other day for a cheapo camera kit for a kid. Price was $30, and it wouldn't take either coupon. Called CS, who claimed they were only good last month - this month is free shipping and no sales tax.

I just received 2 of my 6 pillows this evening. UPS is working OT! Just charged .85 on my visa.
Not bad pillows for less than a buck.

What was the coupon number? Sounds like a good deal to me!

Yea, I just got mine yesterday without a problem. When I called to see if there was any problems, the women didn't mention anything about the coupons or problems with the order.

No problem here either. It must have something to do with calling in the order. I ordered the pillow, entered in the coupon, and it was on my doorstep not a week later. No over charge at all for me.

ok folks, thanks for all your advice. i called up citibank
to complain about this charge. gave em the whole sad story
you've just read above, and the CSR asked what i should've
paid for em, and she said citibank would credit me $20,
no questions asked, paperwork, or anything. awesome. no hassle.
i still hate HSN. even "G" wouldn't work there.
cheers!
