You do - it's still a great deal. You have to buy one more book & then you can cancel. Like 4 books for the price of one.

This deal is kind of confusing, but I'll explain.

You can pick up ONE of the "kit" books linked by KayDee for $9.99 (if you join) or you can get three books for $1.99 each.

The "kit" books usually have three or four books total. I looked at what books they offer and they're okay. Personally, I signed up and picked up the Java 2 Professional kit. They do have a large selection, but I did some research and some books have average reviews on Amazon.

Just cancel after you buy (1!!) book.
