my neice whos from brazil. is stuck in the airport there tonight with 2 small children . she is on her way back home but do to some paper work mistake .or mixup they wont let the children out of the country .she can leave but the kids .are not being allowed to leave .the kids are 4 and 6 and american citizens . born in the good old USA .they have been on vacation seeing her parents for the last month and half . and made there first flight to RIO. but the airlines would not let them board there 2 flight from Rio to newark ,NJ . i have not heard nor my wife if the problem been fix or not . we know they rejected the paper work my nephew fax them. scarry part is they have a friend who use to work for a airline. from what i understand is trying to help . i guess we find out in the am were her and the kids are . we know they missed there flight they were booked on to return.
i hate to be her right now with two young children in a airport. and no place to turn for support.only good thing is she speaks the lang :|
